This was my very first macrame project. I really enjoyed it and found the directions to be well done but I did find the horizontal clove hitch to be challenging (hard to keep it straight) for a beginner. Also, it would be nice to have the pictures to be a bit larger. The kit is a great value and the materials are good quality.
I have not done macrame in years and this was the best kit to get back into it. The step by step illustrated instructions made this a breeze to make. Included is a wood stick and enough macrame cotton cord to add your own touches to the pattern if desired. The cotton cord itself is very nice quality and easy to work with. I am very pleased with how this kit turned out.
