    • The Green Fairy, or "la fŽe verte," is another name for the magical elixir that is absinthe! Solid Oak has taken the classic image of this femme fatale, and reproduced it in a pendant. The pewter-look, metal frame design contrasts and suits well the Art Deco poster style print, which is sealed in a protective clear resin for longevity. The softness of the colors hints at the mysterious nature of the misunderstood concoction. It's in our Steampunk collection because we think it is incredibly edgy and fun! Steampunk is a synthesis of Victorian and the machine age. Solid Oak makes it easy to create amazing, unique jewelry and accessories in the Steampunk tradition - without scavenging through yard sales and flea markets for interesting parts!     It appears washed out to me. Too Light in color!
