Approx. size of each ornament = 2.75 in. (7 cm) top to bottom.
Tools needed = Ruler, heavy-duty memory wire cutters, chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, and something for hanging the decorations, such as ribbon, cord, or ornament hangers.
Approx. time need to create = 30 minutes per ornament.
Experience needed = These are straightforward to make, but more experienced crafters will enjoy an easier time. The curved memory wire ensures consistent arcs of beads, as long as the small loops are made uniformly.

I gave up!
But I’m going to try again when I have a more experienced helper with me. I bought two kits, and the first one was a disaster.
I couldn’t get the memory wire to bend in the right direction. And the result was a muddy mess of beads. I know user error is a factor here, so I’m putting the other kit away for another time. But this is much more difficult than all the other kits I have tried.
Oh no! So sorry to hear the kit was not successful for you. It is true the memory wire can be challenging for some people. Let us know if you would like some more wire sent, so you can re-make the ornaments once your 'experienced helper ' has come to save the day. We do care!
Nostalgic Christmas™ Ornament Kit - Baroque Drops
The memory wire made this the most difficult of the kits we completed. It's rather difficult to center the 10 "rays" of beads on the top and bottom pearl beads, and all of the rays need to be bent more for the ornament to look like the sample photos. We also had some quality control issues - a number of beads were stuck together/unusable, and one of the head-pins was missing (which wasn't really a problem for us as we were able to improvise a better way to mount the year-charms we added). Despite the challenges, the final ornaments are still beautiful on our tree and we love them!
We're glad you succeeded in spite of challenges. Memory wire is definitely stiff and not as easy as regular craft wire, but we elected memory wire so the finished ornaments would resist being squished, and have a more uniform curve. Regarding defective beads or missing items in a kit - we try to send complete, good-quality kits. I've made a lot of ornament kits and I actually had to give up on this one and toss it out. Wire was extremely difficult to measure and bend correctly.
We're sorry you were so frustrated by this kit! Memory wire is admittedly not easy for everyone; it is stiff and hard, so it holds it shape. I've enjoyed making other ornament kits from your company however I ran out of crafting time before Christmas and did not make these YET. Vow to make an earlier start this year. 😉

This is a very nice little project, especially for crafters who enjoy working with memory wire. I admit that I am not one of those. To begin with, cutting ten pieces of memory wire per ornament (kit makes 3) is a bit of a turn-off for me. The instructions are clear and helpful, however. On another point, I'm not sure what the difference is between the so-called "crystal beads" advertised (which means something like Swarovsky to me) and the actual faceted glass beads in the kit.
The faceted beads in the kit are true cut crystal, not molded glass. They are not Swarovsky® brand, which would certainly be beautiful, but would multiply the cost many times!
