This DIY kit has all the materials you need to create heirloom quality beaded ornaments that will easily be the highlight of any tree or window. This kit makes three star ornaments, as pictured.

Each kit includes:

Approx. size of each ornament = 3.75 in. (10 cm) top to bottom.
Tools needed = Round-nose pliers and something for hanging the decorations - ribbon, cord, or ornament hangers.
Approx. time need to create = 15 minutes per ornament.
Experience needed = It's very easy to thread the beads; some hand strength and proper round-nose pliers needed to make the little loops.

Beautiful…

Took one star off the review, due to broken star form, that I didn’t discover because I didn’t open these to make them until after Christmas.

I’ve made several like these in the past, and they always turn out beautifully. This was the first time I made this particular color, and it looks very good. Due to the broken “arm” of one of the stars (a weak solder) I only made two.

Please email us info@solidoakinc.com with your order number and request a replacement star form; we'll send it right out. One hint I have learned since the kit was published: if you switch the order, and do the shorter arm designs first, it seems easier to me.

Sparkling ornament

Very easy to put together, even for kids... and they look beautiful

Very Pretty but

The ornament is very pretty with easy to follow instructions.
The wire is very sturdy which made it too difficult for me to bend. In trying to bend the ends I broke off one of the arms of the form.

Pretty but challenging

These stars are very pretty when they are complete and hanging on the tree. Even so, making them was a challenge because the wire forms were difficult to bend. I am not new to crafting and I struggled. The people at Solid Oak were really great for replacing a broken part and giving me tips on how to work with the wire. I want to purchase another kit.
